Goli Breg is spontaneously fermented, organically (bio) produced “vipavec” (Vipava white blend) from the house of Fedora<\/a>, consisting of rebula, malvasia, welschriesling, zelen and pinela. The golden-yellow wine was macerated for one to three weeks, depending on variety. After gentle pressing, the wine was aged for 20 months in largeused wooden barrels and concrete eggs. After bottling, it is left to rest for another six months. Nose: there is freshness of pine, soft buttery notes and dried fruits. On the palate, dried apricot dominates, joined by raisins, dried pears and ripe figs. Acids are well expressed and, together with the mineral component, ensure balance.<\/span><\/p>\n

The aftertaste is juicy and long. Vipava white as it should be!<\/p>\n

The vineyards of the Fedora estate are located above the Brani\u0161ka Valley, specifically above the village of Dolanci. It is a very interesting location, as the Vipava Brda (hills) touch Karst. The Kobal family planted the first vineyards on these hills at the end of the 19th century.<\/p>\n
