Viret Mareotis 2009 is a red wine from the Southern Rh\u00f4ne with aromas of ripe red, but even more dark fruits, plums, blackberries, liquorice, herbs. Tannins are soft and acids are consistent. Full body and a very nice concentration of dark fruit flavours: blueberry, plum, blackberry. Tertiary aromas include leather, liquorice, dark chocolate. The wine is slightly spicy. A ripe red apple with a nice long aftertaste…<\/p>\n

Domaine Viret<\/h5>\n

At the gates of Chateauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas, the Viret family has been involved in cosmoculture for more than 20 years. Goat farming is the ancestral agriculture of Maya and Inca origin. Philippe Viret farms using a method that is biodynamic in principle, but which he calls “Cosmoculture”. No sulphur is added to the wines.
