Boisa X.O. brandy is a blend of Georgian wine distillates aged for at least 14 years in oak barrels. Transparent, dark amber colour, beautifully developed nose and a fresh, soft taste of dried fruits, tobacco, dark chocolate with delicate spicy notes. The very pleasant almond, caramel sweet aftertaste lasts for an incredibly long time. X.O. brandy, amazing in its elegance and complexity.<\/p>\n

Georgia’s geographical location, climate, soil and indigenous wine varieties provide all the necessary conditions for the production of top quality brandy. The tradition of Georgian brandy production dates back to the mid-19th century. Since its inception, Georgian brandies have regularly received international awards. They were known as Georgian Cognac until 1990, when the name Georgian Brandy was introduced. Boisa brandies are made from white wine distillate using the classic method. The grapes for this wine are ripened in the Alazani Valley in the Kakheti region. Renowned for producing exceptional wines of the highest quality, it is also ideal for brandy.<\/p>\n

Vladimer Boisa<\/h5>\n
Born in 1981 in Rustavi, Georgia<\/a>. He grew up in a sports family and soon became passionate about basketball. After playing for all the junior teams in Georgia, he moved to Slovenia at the age of 17. He says he spent here the best years of his career and made a home and a family. After seven years playing for Olimpija, his sporting career took him through Italy, Russia, Greece, Spain, Croatia and back to Georgia. He finished his career in 2013. During his basketball career, he was particularly honoured and proud to play for the Georgian national basketball team. He was a member of the team for 15 years.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

After his sport\u00a0career, he took over as Vice President of the Georgian Basketball Federation and finally found time to pursue his passion for wine, which had been growing in him for the last few years. He is happy to have the right people around him to help him with advice and from whom he has learnt a lot. He is proud that his wine<\/a> is produced using the traditional Georgian method and that he personally stands behind every bottle. The initial passion for wine first became a hobby, expanded to brandy<\/a>, and grew into much, much more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
